About the Journal

AJARCDE (Asian Journal of Applied Research for Community Development and Empowerment) publishes papers on innovative applications, development of new technologies, and efficient solutions in agriculture, engineering, computing, social sciences, information technology, food, energy, and scientific research to improve knowledge and practice in the field of purposeful community change. The journal covers a wide range of topics including rural and community development, geography and regional planning, rural cooperatives, community health, capacity building, social work, community empowerment, sustainable development, human resource development, social capital, economics, urban studies, student community service activities, and other relevant subjects.

Publication Frequency: AJARCDE is published triannually, with three issues per year in April, August, and December.

Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
AJARCDE encourages authors to explicitly state in their abstracts how their research contributes to one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This initiative aims to enhance the clarity and relevance of scholarly contributions within the context of global sustainability challenges.

By aligning research outputs with the SDGs framework, AJARCDE seeks to promote academic work that supports sustainable development, social inclusion, community empowerment, and long-term environmental responsibility.

This commitment reflects the journal’s mission to foster impactful research that contributes meaningfully to global development agendas and strengthens the role of academia in addressing pressing societal issues.

 

SINTA Accreditation

AJARCDE Official Promotion from SINTA 4 to SINTA 2
Based on the official decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (KemenristekDikti) No. 0110/C3/DT.05.00/2026, dated February 3, 2026, AJARCDE has officially been promoted from SINTA 4 to SINTA 2, effective starting from Volume 9, Issue 1 (2025).

The Science and Technology Index (SINTA) is a national indexing and evaluation platform developed by KemenristekDikti to assess the performance and quality of researchers, academic institutions, and scientific journals in Indonesia.

This achievement reflects AJARCDE’s strong commitment to maintaining high academic standards, improving publication quality, and enhancing its contribution to the global scholarly community.

AJARCDE Scopus Citation Growth

AJARCDE Scopus Citation Growth Analysis (2020–Early 2026)
This chart illustrates a steady and consistent rise in annual Scopus citations for AJARCDE publications from 2020 through the beginning of 2026. Over the past six years, citations of AJARCDE articles indexed in Scopus have continuously increased, reflecting the journal’s growing visibility, academic relevance, and impact within the global scholarly community.

The journal experienced a significant surge in influence after 2023, with citations increasing sharply from 22 in 2023 to 57 in 2024. This upward momentum culminated in a record-breaking 102 citations in 2025, marking the highest annual citation count achieved by the journal to date.

The positive growth trend continues into the current year. As of February 4, 2026, AJARCDE has already recorded 6 Scopus citations. This early-year activity confirms that the journal’s scholarly impact remains strong and continues to solidify AJARCDE’s reputation as a high-impact publication in its field.
